About Me
I am a writer and editor from Milton, Ontario. I have a B.A. in Creative Writing and English with a minor in Professional Writing from Southern New Hampshire University and graduated from Centennial College's Publishing Certification program in June 2025. In my education, I have gained specialized experience with editing, design, marketing, and production conventions and software, which I have applied in leadership roles on several publications.

My Experience
Editor-in-Chief
On the Danforth Magazine
My role as Editor-in-Chief for Centennial College's student magazine, On the Danforth, involved creating a thematic vision for the 2025 print issue and overseeing an editorial team to realize the project. I coordinated with the design, sales, and production teams to bring the editorial theme to life and create a cohesive brand for the publication.
Content Intern
Cottage Life Magazine
During my internship, I pitched, wrote, and edited SEO-optimized digital stories for cottagelife.com weekly. I also contributed to the August 2025 print issue and the 2026 calendar by writing copy and content, as well as by fact-checking stories and contributor information. From this role, I also gained experience managing social media for a publication and overseeing aspects of production for magazines.
Lead Copy Editor
The Penmen Press
As the lead copy editor of SNHU's student-run newspaper, The Penmen Press, I managed a team of copy editors by assigning articles to edit, reviewing work, and identifying common errors. I edited articles for grammar, accuracy, tone, and objectivity according to AP Style while collaborating with an editorial team to move content toward publication.
Fiction Reader
Salamander Magazine
I apply my education in Creative Writing and prior editing experience as a fiction submission reader for Salamander Magazine. Each month, I read and evaluate a minimum of 25 short stories. I then forward the stories to Salamander editors with the suggestion to accept or deny, along with my analysis of the piece.
